4 and a Half and 2 Years Old

The kids are growing so quickly! Jasmine and Sydney have started preschool. The stats for their 4 and a Half year appointment and 2 year appointment are below:

Jasmine stats: height 39.5 inches (20%) and weight 29lbs 8oz (less than 3%)

Sydney stats: height 39 inches (13%) and weight 30lbs (4%)

Daniel stats: height 34.5 inches (57%) and weight 26lbs (24%)

We have been on several trips this year, including a trip to Hawaii in April, a trip to see Mesa Verde in May, a camping trip in July, and a trip to Idaho to visit our friends Sue and Lyle Wood along with Yellowstone. In addition, the kids have been doing swimming lessons this summer.

The girls had a great time this year helping Grandpa plant the garden and the results are amazing! We are surprised by Daniel's progress in speech at such a young age, he can sing his ABCs and his favorite question is Why?

4 Years Old and 21 Months

The kids are adjusting well to life in Colorado, they are enjoying seeing their cousins and relatives that they have not spent much time with before. The snow at our house is almost gone and we are VERY excited for the weather to come, especially knowing what we are missing in Arizona!

Jasmine and Sydney are looking forward to starting preschool in August and are growing taller. They can count to 100 with some help. Daniel is closing in on the terrible twos and talking amazingly well for his age. He sat down at the table and sang the entire song of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star without missing a word :-).

All of the kids are enjoying being outdoors. Daniel LOVES riding with Grandpa on the tractor, if the tractor is going, he wants to be outside and helping.

4 Years Old and 18 Months

The kids are enjoying the snow that is COVERING Durango, Colorado right now! The girls just had their 4th birthday and Daniel is 18 months. Below are the stats from their first doctor's visit in Colorado.

Jasmine stats: height 38.3 in (21%) and weight 28 lbs (-1%)

Sydney stats: height 37.8 in (13%) and weight 30 lbs (11%)
Daniels stats: height 32.8 in (63%), weight 23lb 4oz (17%), and head circumference 47 cm (28%)

The girls received bicycles for their birthday and are enjoying riding them around and will enjoy them much more in the spring! Daniel's vocabulary is really taking off! He listened to a conversation with the girls about spiders and said "Spider bit me" over and over again a few nights ago. He can count with us to 10 already (I say one, he says two, I say three, he says four, etc.) and gets many of the numbers to 20. Grandpa is working with him on colors, but he seems to like numbers and talking a lot right now!
