5 Years Old and 2 1/2 Years Old

On October 3, 2010, Jasmine and Sydney were flower girls in Temecula, California for the wedding of Matthew and Chelsea Mitzelfelt, Congratulations! My sister and her son Zachary flew in from Hawaii and stayed a while after the wedding for many other adventures! The girls had such a great time, here are some pictures of them as flower girls.

During our trip, we stayed near San Diego and visited Legoland:

October was a busy month for us! After going to California for the wedding, we returned to Colorado for a few days and then set off for Lake Powell to try out a boat that took several months of refurbishing (along with Nana and Nanu's boat), we had a great time and the kids loved fishing. Our boat broke down on the very last day and we were towed back to the marina, but even that was a good time :-), more refurbishing to do!

In December, we took a trip to Ouray, Colorado to visit the hot springs and checked out some beautiful waterfalls:

4 and a Half and 2 Years Old

The kids are growing so quickly! Jasmine and Sydney have started preschool. The stats for their 4 and a Half year appointment and 2 year appointment are below:

Jasmine stats: height 39.5 inches (20%) and weight 29lbs 8oz (less than 3%)

Sydney stats: height 39 inches (13%) and weight 30lbs (4%)

Daniel stats: height 34.5 inches (57%) and weight 26lbs (24%)

We have been on several trips this year, including a trip to Hawaii in April, a trip to see Mesa Verde in May, a camping trip in July, and a trip to Idaho to visit our friends Sue and Lyle Wood along with Yellowstone. In addition, the kids have been doing swimming lessons this summer.

The girls had a great time this year helping Grandpa plant the garden and the results are amazing! We are surprised by Daniel's progress in speech at such a young age, he can sing his ABCs and his favorite question is Why?

4 Years Old and 21 Months

The kids are adjusting well to life in Colorado, they are enjoying seeing their cousins and relatives that they have not spent much time with before. The snow at our house is almost gone and we are VERY excited for the weather to come, especially knowing what we are missing in Arizona!

Jasmine and Sydney are looking forward to starting preschool in August and are growing taller. They can count to 100 with some help. Daniel is closing in on the terrible twos and talking amazingly well for his age. He sat down at the table and sang the entire song of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star without missing a word :-).

All of the kids are enjoying being outdoors. Daniel LOVES riding with Grandpa on the tractor, if the tractor is going, he wants to be outside and helping.
